2008 is For Nintendo's Wii Balance Boards

Nintendo is a company dedicated not only to gaming but also to healthy lifestyle. I must dare say that this must be the company's mission statement for 2008. The latest for this year from Nintendo is a product that would both appeal to gamers and health buff. It is called Nintendo's Wii Fit and played on Nintendo's Balance Boards. It is a gaming console that will not only provide players the excitement and fun but will likewise appeal to their physical prowess as well since it is a 2-in 1 console combining gaming and exercise. This product employs cutting edge technology where it enables gamers to play and be part of the game through the use of wireless motion sensitive controls. This is even made more fun and exhilarating for players playing Wii Fit in their Wii Balance Boards.

Wii balance Board

Have you seen those weighing scales that we use in the bathroom? That is how a Balance Board looks like. Only, it is gigantic in size. It is here where the player will try to position himself to play the game. It is a board with many sensors on it that would send accurate wireless information to the gaming console of the Wii. The pre programmed games will interpret the information and will respond according to its program. The player will have a field day adjusting and reshaping his or her body position to have a winning advantage. It has so many different kinds of game in relation to body workouts that would even include yoga.

Wii Fit Zoomed High In the Market

The launching of Wii fit in the international market was such a hit that in every country it was promoted, almost every stock of it were sold in just a matter of several days. Japan was the first country to become crazy with the Wii Fit. When it was released in UK, other games did not have a chance competing against it. Because of the wildfire news among international gamers, several weeks before Wii Fit hit the market in UK, there was already a flood of advance order for it. This is how hot Wii Fit has become. Australia and the US are the two next counties were Wii Fit will be launched. Right now, retailers are almost up to their necks with orders.

What comes After Wii Fit?

Many gaming market insiders knows that the US release of Wii Fit will be such a
very successful one, since they already know for a fact the ever increasing volume of advance orders being received daily by retailers all over the US. They are one in stating that Wii Fit is already assured of a massive sales and they predicts that it will break record charts of other gaming companies. The manner
Wii Fit and Wii Balance Boards were designed to ingeniously merge together the joys of gaming and being an actual lifestyle product that would compliment a home is a surefire thing that will translate to immensely huge sales. More then Wii Fit, however, will be the promise of other games to be played on Wii Balance Boards which many are predicting to be the hit game of 2008

Coming Soon: Wii Balance Board Games

Wii Balance Board has many forthcoming games aside from Wii Fit that is the only game played in the Wii Balance Boards today. It was not yet confirmed by Nintendo, but there are persistent stories going on that Nintendo will release a game on Wii balance Boards called Nintendo snowboarding, EA Skate and several other names. It was also said that there will be future Mario titles to be included in the planned games for Wii Balance Boards.

Philadelphia - Our One Day Walk Through History

During a recent business trip to Philadelphia, we took a couple of personal days to see historic sites in the area. We found Philadelphia an easy city to navigate without a car. After our plane landed we picked up our luggage and took the SEPTA train into City Center. The conversations between clueless travelers and a patient train conductor were entertainment itself.

We started our afternoon with a bowl of pho (Vietnamese soup) for lunch at a small restaurant on Race Street in Chinatown. Huge bowls of extremely hot soups were served very within minutes of our order. Bring cash, as several restaurants in town require a minimum charge for credit cards.

Your first stop in the historic district should be the Independence Visitor Center. Stop to see the National Park Service Rangers at the desk to pick up a map of the National Park area. They also distribute tickets to Independence Hall. There is no free for these time stamped tickets but they are usually gone early in the day. This is the only area of the Independence National Historic Park which requires a ticket.

At many sites in this district, you must enter though a security line. You can reduce your time in line by leaving all packages in your hotel room or car.

Once you have your ticket to Independence Hall, take a walk across the street to view the Liberty Bell. The building has exhibits on the history of the bell including how it was made, the fateful crack and repair attempts. There are photos of the bell as it traveled around the county.

Make your way across the street allowing plenty of time to get through security before your tour of Independence Hall. If you are early for your timed tour, check out Congress Hall while you wait. You can also tour the East and West Wings before the tour of Independence Hall.

We ended our day with a variety of options from vendors at Reading Terminal Markets. Product, cheese, wine, candy and prepared meals are a treat for the eyes and tummy. Stop at multiple vendors and snack your way through the aisles. We had Adsl Speed steak and falafel sandwichestopped off with a piece of chocolate cake.

Unlocking the Apple IPhone 3G

The Net Speedometer iPhone 3G was announced in a blaze of glory that eclipsed most of the other smart phones on the market, but it remains to be seen whether Apple has really provided users with exactly what they want. Less than a year after the original iPhone went on sale the technology giant promises new users of the latest iPhone that they will be given the chance to officially download 3rd party applications through the App store. But how quickly will an unlocked version become available?

The second generation phone is an updated smart phone with GPS and a 16 GB memory. The 3G iPhone has a lot to write home about with added support, added GPS, third party applications, and support for a Microsoft Exchange server. Extra 3G support is a massive plus for it. If the trial speed of data transfer is maintained then users really will be carrying the Internet around in their pocket. At half the Voip Malaysia and twice the speed of its forerunners the new 3G versions is sure to be popular.

The new phone is thinner at the edges than the earlier version and slightly thicker in the middle, other measurements remain the same although the 3G is 2grams lighter than its predecessor. It no longer has the recessed headphone jack, which some users found annoying, it is now flush enough for any 3.5mm headphones.

Due to go on sale July the 11th the phone will be on offer in black with 8GB of memory or in black or white with 16GB of memory. Sources suggest that the new iPhone will be available in the UK from Apple, 02 and the Carphone Warehouse.

The 8GB model will be on sale for 99 on a new 30 monthly contract or an existing 35 contract - if you choose the higher tariffs of 45 and 75 a month then you will get the 8GB iPhone free. Prices are quite a bit steeper for the 16GB version with the phone costing 159 on the 30 and 35 tariffs, 59 for the 45 tariff and free on the 75 tariff.

Users will continue to receive unlimited data whatever their tariff although they could find that they will be liable for O2's excessive use policy. On the upside however you will be able to browse over O2's HSDPA network and unlimited access to broadband free phone Wi-Fi hotspots through BT Openzone and the Cloud.

Although the addition of 3G and GPS make the iPhone2.0 attractive it is still without some of the basic features found on much cheaper phones, including multimedia messaging and voice messaging.

The first iPhone was available unlocked soon after its launch but this time it will only be available in store rather than through iTunes. So what of the grey market and those that are eager to buy one for the discounted contract price in the hope they can get it unlocked?

Well they might be put off even faster than before. Apple have done their best to ensure that their second generation phone is locked right down. With official applications being controlled tightly by Apple, any non-legitimate contract phone will easily be spotted - or more importantly won't benefit from the full features.

Insure and Smile offers competitive mobile phone insurance for all models of mobile phones including the new Apple 3G iPhone. Insure a mobile for as little as 2.99 a month against theft, breakdown and water damage with 48 internet dictionary replacement.
