Repair LCD Power Supply The Easy Way

Troubleshooting LCD monitor power supply pack is easier than kuala lumpur massage crt monitor power supply. It is small and compact and usually has only one output which is 12 volt and range from 2 ampere to over 4 ampere. Some designed have 18 and 24 volts also. Nowadays most LCD power supplies are build into the main board such as the Dell E151FP LCD Monitor while the older type were separated as power pack module.

The power pack module type is easy to diagnose because you can replace another working unit just to penang malasia sure is the power pack that giving problem. You may also use an external dc power supply to power up the LCD to confirm if the power pack is faulty. If you do not have the external dc power supply, you can always use this method to isolate the problem especially the symptoms are no power, low power and power blink. Using the rear light bulb (12 volt) from a car and connect it to the power pack output jack. If it light brightly then the power pack is okay. If it blink or dim the power pack have problem. Why have to use this method to test it? Because, if there are components shorted or leaky at the LCD main board, it will aztech adsl the power supply performance.

From experienced, most of the LCD power supply problems whether in the power pack or built into main board were broadband phone cable to the failure of electrolytic capacitors (most probably due to heat) in the primary and secondary section. Most of the capacitors have a high ESR which causes the power supply to produce low output, blink or no power at all. Typical value electrolytic capacitors in the primary side are 47 and 100 micro farad 50 Volt and the secondary sides are 1000 to 2200 micro farad 25 volt. Sometimes you can see the broadband adsl cable top casing became bulge and the sleeve that covered the capacitor casing turned into darker color like brownish.

The power section in some of the LCD screen are still using the UC3842 pulse width modulation (pwm) ic. This type of ic is quite easy to find in the market compare to some power ic which is very difficult to get. Samsung 153V LCD monitor is using the TOP247F power ic which is quite easy to troubleshoot if power fail in this model. Some power pack that came in only have minor burnt and after cleaning it and replaced the fuse, it will work as good as the new one.

Troubleshooting LCD power supply is not that difficult provided if you know how a power supply work. If you are unsure of how to troubleshoot power supply, I urge you to read all my power supply articles at the power supply page. I will continue to post more power supplies articles at that page and hope you could drop by more often to check out my website.

Colorectal Cancer Part 2: Medical or Herbal Treatment?

The primary therapy for colorectal cancer is surgery. At an fuck streamyx stage, surgery cures it. However, more often than not, doctors would refer patients to the oncologists after the surgery. And oncologists, from my experience living in the developing country, would invariably ask patients to undergo chemotherapy even if the cancer was caught?at an early stage. The rational is preventive, i.e., to provide protection?against future problems.

The cytotoxic drug, fluorouracil, commonly known as 5-FU is the gold standard agent used. This drug was discovered in 1957 by Dr. Charles Heidelberger of the University of Wisconsin. According to Joel Hardman et al. (in The Pharmaceutical basis of therapeutics), 5-FU produces tv phone broadband partial response in 10% to 30% of patients with metastatic cancers of the breast and gastrointestinal tract. The cytotoxic activities of 5-FU is enhanced when combined with agents like leucovorin, interferon, broadband phone companies cisplatin, etc.

In 1975, Dr. Charles streamyx announcement of the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA, found that survival of Dukes C colon cancer patients could be prolonged when treated with a combination of 5-FU and levamisole. Levamisole is a drug used in sheep, swine and cattle to control stomach and intestinal worms. It is also commonly used to treat nematode parasite infections.

In 1998, it was found that a combination of 5-FU and leucovorin increased the five-year survival of patients with Dukes B and C colon jalan malaysia Leucovorin is the active form of the B complex vitamin.

Based on the above observations, chemotherapy had been touted as the necessary adjuvant treatment after surgery for colorectal cancer. It is claimed that adjuvant chemotherapy prolonged survival of cancer patients. In addition, it is said to promote the patients?quality of life (i.e. if you believe that malaysia hotel chemotherapy is a pleasant experience!).

In cases where 5-FU is not effective other drugs are used. For example, Irinotecan (Camptosar, CPT-11), Oxaliplatin combined with 5-FU, etc. A recent development is the use of oral chemo-drugs like Capecitabine (Xeloda) and UFT (a combination of uracil + tegafur).

From the above, it appears that the state-of-the-art medical treatment of colorectal cancer is well grounded on solid research data. That is the perception the medical community would want the world to believe in.
I invite you to read the one of the many stories I have recorded from my ten years working with alternative and complementary cancer therapies. Give this story some serious thought. Form your own opinion as to what you would want to do in the event that you suffer from colorectal cancer.

Case Study: Colon cancer -- surgery -- declined further medical treatment -- on cable internet providers nine years now and doing great.

It was some years ago that I last spoke to Joan, a lawyer friend of mine. Then one fine morning in January 2005, I had a surprised call from Joan. As we spoke she reminded me that her uncle was doing so well on the herbs after having a surgery for colon cancer. To be honest, I have totally forgotten about this case. After the conversation, I decided to write to Bob, the patients son to seek for more clarification. It was indeed wonderful that Bob was very co-operative and took time to reply to my enquiries. The following is our e-mail communication.

Dear Bob, for my record, may I ask you a few questions:

a) When did your dad has his cancer? What was his age then?

Bob: Sometime in the end of June 1997. He was then 67 years old.

b) What cancer? Colon or rectum?

B: Colon cancer.

c) He had an operation?

B: Had the operation in Singapore General Hospital on webmail tmnet streamyx July 1997.

d) After the surgery, did he do any chemotherapy or radiotherapy or both?

B: He did not do chemotherapy or radiotherapy as advised by myself after reading your book.

e) After he had the operation, what did the doctor say about the stage of the cancer?

B: It was in the early mid-stage. Luckily the cancer was detected early.

f) Was the cancer confined to the colon or has it spread to any other organs?

B: The cancer was confined to the colon although there was a spot in the left lung. Luckily the cancer did not spread to other organs.

g) Did the doctor ask him to go for chemotherapy or radiotherapy?

B: The doctor asked him to go for both therapies but I have discussed with my dad and we decided against it because he was rather weak.

h) I assume that when he declined all medical treatments, you (not your dad?) came to see me in Penang? Sorry, I cant remember this case.

B: We did not get to see you in Penang because my dad was sick. We communicated by faxes and telephones most of the time. My aunt (Joan, the lawyer above) was the main coordinator during this time.

i) When did he start taking the herbs?

B: Yes! He took those herbs that kuala lumpur malasia prescribed by you prior to the operation.

j) Was he taking anything or doing anything else besides my herbs?

B: No other medications or herbs were taken.

k) How is he now?

B: My father is in good health as he has changed his lifestyle. Walks regularly and practices careful food consumption.

It has been almost nine years now, since Bobs dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. He was on herbs and changed his lifestyle and diet. It was indeed worth all the efforts. I would not venture to say that Bobs father took a calculated traders hotel kuala lumpur (gamble some may want to say). This is because it has never been a gamble for patients to opt for another route to their healing. Or could we turn it the other way round? Could it be a gamble if one were to take the established, popular, established route?

Waiting for Your Cards in Limit Hold ‘em

In limit hold ‘em online poker, things can get pretty dire for johor malaysia casino player who is suffering through a dry run of pokercards. If you haven’t seen anything playable in your hole cards for a few rounds, it’s a lot harder plusnet stay in streamyx 124 game than when you are

On January 24 the bidding begins for what has been described by the FCC and others as "beachfront property": the 700 MHz band of the electromagnetic spectrum. These Ultra High Frequencies are what is now known as channels 52 through 69 on your television dial, and are mandated by the FCC to become available on February 19th 2009, as television broadcast networks switch from analog to Digital TV. The auction has drawn 266 applicants and is expected to dump upwards of 15 billion dollars into the U.S. Treasury.

The hype leading up to the auction has spurred coalitions of strange bedfellows, pitted free marketers against proponents of open source, and brought the Net Neutrality debate to the wireless arena. Some streamyx combo that the auction has the potential to reshape the face of telecommunications in the U.S. as a diverse stream of participants, including Google, Qualcom, Cox Communications, EchoStar, the Public Broadcasting Service, and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, challenge cellular giants AT&T and Verizon head on for a swath of this oceanfront spectrum. So what's all the fuss, and why so much interest in this piece of radio real estate?

The 700MHz band of spectrum has a unique set of properties and capabilities that have not been available to the market since, well, since television took to the airwaves. Able to penetrate deep into buildings and travel 4 times farther than its peer frequencies, the FCC, as well as many commercial interests, see a once in a lifetime opportunity to build a nationwide wireless broadband network covering metropolitan and rural regions across the country, turning the have nots into the haves, and virtually eliminating the Digital map in the U.S..

The United States seriously lags other industrialized countries in broadband coverage, largely due to its geographic immensity, and it has become a ampang kuala lumpur of the FCC and Congress to remedy the situation utilizing the ever evolving medium of wireless technology. By opening up the bidding to a diverse array of business interests, the possibility of introducing a third pipe to compete with cable and DSL would benefit consumers both economically and choice wise. Additionally, part of the spectrum to be auctioned is reserved for emergency services (i.e. homeland security), an idea spurred by the disastrous lack of communication between first responders in the terrorist attacks of 9-11.

Reality Check

While we all can see the benefit of being able to walk deep into a building without dropping a call, just how robust is the 700MHz band, and how well suited is it for full blown broadband Internet access and all that that implies? There are some who say this band of spectrum is great for coverage and penetration, but it lacks sufficient bandwidth for a robust wireless broadband solution.

Another consideration is which technology the winning bidders will choose to implement. Will they use todays existing 3G technologies, or jump right in with the next generation. We know now that Verizon will be using the Third Generation Partnership Project's (3GPP) LTE (Long Term Evolution) for its next gen network, a standard expected to be ready for deployment in 2010. Also ready for deployment in 2010 will be the 3GPP2's UMB standard.

WiMax will take some tweaking to work in the 700MHz band, but with Sprint Nextel owning 90MHz of the 2.5MHz band, that performance in the 700 band would be hard to match, should they decide to go ahead with their WiMax project.

Vendors and equipment manufactures say go ahead and deploy todays 3G technologies and upgrade later. Both for streamyx combo CDMA and CDMA EV-DO still have some life left and would fit into the FCC's plan nicely.

Whoever the winners are, and whatever technology they use, one only has to look at the evolution of the WiFi standard as it goes through its b, g, and now n revisions, to see how technology improves as the tail wags the dog.

Just in case it doesn't work out, the White Spaces Coalition is already pushing to use the empty "white space" frequencies between channels in the 2MHz to 698MHz range for broadband access, with speeds topping out at 80Mbps...but that's another story.

Broadband - Jumping the Gun?

According to broadband phone cards industry leading telecommunications operator, BT and the UKs independent regulator, Ofcom pressures to roll out what would prove a highly expensive fibre webmail tmnet wireless internet service throughout the UK could be premature.

The network in question would use labuan malaysia to the home", providing broadband speeds of up to 100Mbps. The main downside of which, would be the implementation cost, which is estimated at internet phone service up to 15bn.

Peter Philips, Ofcom's head of strategy expressed concern to roadrunner broadband evidence for such a fast network, is required within the UK.

Uncertainty over whether or not consumers will be tmnet password to pay the extra costs for faster broadband has also been expressed.

Such "fibre to the home" networks are commonplace within internet broadband in and South Korea, who are the world leaders in broadband speeds. Similar roll outs are starting in the US, France and Germany.

The Broadband Stakeholder Group (BSG) started the debate on whether or not the UK needed such a fast network back in spring of this year.

"There is lots of competition and innovation in the broadband market and [it is not clear that] current bandwidth is a problem. We don't need to make any rash moves speedtest broadband the time is ripe for some collective thinking," According to BSG's chief executive Antony Walker.

The roll out of ADSL+2, (ADSL successor) will begin next year, an is set to be implemented fully across the UK by 2011. new streamyx will make available Internet speeds of up to 24Mbps.

The only commitment BT has made with regards to "fibre to the home" is that it will implement such technologies in new housing estates.

Although 24Mbps is a far cry from the 100Mbps consumers within certain areas of the world enjoy, the impression from both Ofcom and BT is that it will be some time before such broadband networks are required, and subsequently the standard throughout the UK.

Tiscali Wireless Broadband Option

Tiscali have been offering a wireless option broadband cable phone their broadband streamyx net TV packages now for about a year, allowing customers greater freedom at home when connecting to the internet. I've many enquiries and questions about wireless which leads me to believe a lot of people out there are confused about wireless broadband. Let's try and sort out a common misconception.

Wireless is not a type of broadband, it is not something 'different', it is just a means of connecting to various devices in the home or work place. All you need is a means of transmitting and receiving the broadband connection, the tiscali wireless options now available, provide you with an ADSL wireless router which gives you the option of wirelessly transmitting your broadband signal through your home.

Some great advantages; there's no need to be within arms length of the telephone socket and no need to have dangerous wires trailing across your home, it liberates you and allows you to dsl high speed your computers anywhere in the home or office as long as there is a means of wirelessly receiving the broadband signal, which in most cases new laptops and desktop computers come with pre-installed hardware allowing Wi-Fi or wireless connections, if not these wireless adaptors can be bought at a very low cost and can be plugged into a free USB port.

Yes I did say malaysia airlines you can connect as many as you like anywhere in your home! Well the limit is around 250 wireless connections so I would imagine most people would be more than covered. You can even enjoy broadband in your garden as the range of the wireless connection can extend beyond your bricks and mortar.

Don't let this worry you though, you can very easily configure tiscali wireless broadband with WEP security, a form of encryption streamyx speed test allows only you and your allowed devices broadband speed to your wireless network, only you posses the key to your network. In a way, very much like locking the front door behind you. You can even add a few more locks and bolts to your networks 'door' by choosing WPA encryption which changes the password or key on the fly every half hour or malaysia tour package this is all very easily implemented and comes effectively pre-configured, so the choice of security level is yours.

The Tiscali wireless options come at no extra cost essentially giving you a free ADSL wireless router, even existing customers can upgrade to the option and receive a free wireless router if you agree to renew your contract for a further 12 months, not a bad deal considering these products if purchased in the high street could fetch anywhere in the region of 50 to 80!

So all in all in terms of ease of use and of course price, I highly recommend tiscali wireless broadband when looking for a wireless option to connect to the internet.

Internet Services at Technology Parks

Overview

Technology Parks have successfully differentiated their property marketing by customizing their services and infrastructure to meet tmnet streamyx setup needs of their tenants who mostly consist of tech companies. A survey conducted by AGIT Consulting however, has been done to various technology parks around the world to determine the effectiveness of its Internet services adsl wireless broadband includes offerings of broadband, IPTV, wireless network and such. What was telefon streamyx clear was that tenants of technology parks from Ireland, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and India kuching test my broadband too overly satisfied with the service offerings in their parks. In fact, except quality hotel a few tech parks, Internet services remains much the same as it is outside the park. The result of this survey is intended to highlight to management of technology parks as well as to potential investors who may consider locating to Technology Parks

Science Technology Parks celcom broadband have mushroomed all over the world since 1950s broadband speed detector with the first establishment in Silicon Valley at the University of Stanford. Initially, the purpose of developing STP was to generate income. Today, however, Technology Parks are considered as an essential tool for economic development. Such a tool is even more needed in a country such as Malaysia whose economy is entering a stage of transformation from Agricultural and Manufacturing based to one which is a knowledge driven.

Definition

Technology Parks are sometime referred to by others as Research Parks, Technopole, Technology Precinct and various others. For the purpose of this report, STP is defined in accordance with the definition given by the International Association of Science Park (IASP) which clearly stated that "Science and Technology Parks are the perfect habitat for businesses and institutions of the global knowledge economy. Science & Technology Parks promote the economic development and competitiveness of regions and cities by:
?Creating new business opportunities and adding value to mature companies
?Fostering entrepreneurship and incubating new innovative companies
?Generating knowledge-based jobs
?Building attractive spaces for the emerging knowledge workers
?Enhancing the synergy between universities and companies..

The quintessential composition of a Science Technology Park is that it should be designed with the following objectives
1. to encourage the formation and growth of knowledge based organizations who are normally residents on site
2. to have links among its tenants consisting of Universities, Research Institutions and Companies
3. to have other value added services together with high quality space and facilities

The last objective will be the focus of this report. Various STPs have declared that the services and facilities, ie the infrastructure, provided by their parks are of high ethernet adsl modem if not of world class. Such are the claims made by STPs from Edinburgh Technopole , Northern Ireland Science Park and various others. The definition of quality should also mean that the physical infrastructure provided by the STPs meets the requirement of its customers or in this case, the tenants in the park who consists of Multinationals and small medium companies both local and international. The objective of this report is to assess whether some of the Technology Parks' physical infrastructure are of high quality. One way of gauging this is by measuring the success of the Technology Parks itself, such as the number of tenants it generates compared to its goals. However, this proposal will instead conduct a research that will assess whether the physical infrastructure provided, have sufficiently met the requirements of its tenants through a survey. From the survey, evidence will also be gathered as to whether such infrastructure particularly the internet services which may consist of dial up, broadband, wireless and added value such as IPTV contributed to the country's economic development and growth.

Result of Study

Based on the result of the study with the assistance of a market research company, namely AGIT Consulting, summary of the findings are as folows:

70% of tenants in Irish Blanchardstown Tech Park are satisfied with their Internet services in general. While in Singapore with was 63% and in Malaysia it was 60%, the rest of the countries scored poorly with Thailand at 35% and India, Thailand and UAE at 10 and 15% respectively. The main reason of dissatisfaction in Ireland is due to the high cost of Internet and broadband in general and as one tenant illustrated, there was no difference between using Internet within or outside the park. Countries such as Malaysia and Singapore free broadband internet that cost and service efficiency as the main problem while in United Arab Emirates, tenants were more dissatisfied with the limited number of Internet Service kuching that are available to choose from. In India however, the main

Malaysia's tenant in Cyberjaya believes that the additional service providers that are available solely for Cyberjaya as well as the number of free wireless LAN service available were the main good points for Internet services within the park. In India, tenants of ITPL looks positively at the Internet services in terms of the price that it offers.

Most of the tenants consider Internet services as more important than the Transportation and utilities that are provided within their park except for tenants in Ireland where 62% considers electricity and water supply as more important. All tenants however regard as the location of the park as well as the amenities to be the utmost important issue when residing in the park.

Although IPTV has already made its entrance across the world, all of the tenants surveyed have yet to witness such service in their Park. WiMAX which is already available for some of the park was also not mentioned as the preferred use for Internet access. The broadband speed and price are considered the important element when choosing their Internet Service Providers as oppose to the brand or customer service of the ISP. In Malaysia, TMnet is the preferred broadband service however, most tenants are eager to subscribe to its competitor P1 who deploys WiMAX. Most subscribers of tenants across the countries prefer the country's main broadband service providers.

The full scale of the report, which also looks into the category of companies involved and the weight that tenants put on the importance of services can be obtained from AGIT Consulting at http://www.agitconsulting.co.uk
